RIKON RPS portal cranes are fully electric double jib level luffing cranes for seaports, river ports and terminals. They handle general and bulk cargo with hook, grab, magnet and lifting beam, plus spreader on larger models.

The RPS series uses a double jib system for precise, efficient load handling. Boom luffing, hoisting and lowering, slewing and travelling are all electrically driven, and the RPS-300 adds an energy recovery system. The RPS-640 and RPS-1600 can also be built with a slewing bearing design.
The RPS-300 is the smallest model, made for port sites with limited space. Its boom reaches 8 to 30 m, extendable to 36 m, and it lifts 20 t in hook mode, up to 30 t as an option, and 10 t in grab mode. Output reaches up to 400 t per hour in grab mode, and the crane weighs 160 t on a 10.5 m gauge.
The RPS-640 sits in the middle of the series and adds spreader mode for containers. The RPS-1600 is the largest: its boom reaches 9 to 40 m, extendable to 55 m, and it lifts 63 t in hook mode, up to 200 t as an option, and 32 t in grab mode, up to 50 t.
RIKON grabs complete the cranes for bulk work: four-rope two-clamshell grabs for coal, iron ore concentrate, agribulk, pig iron and scrap, four-rope six-clamshell grabs for scrap, pig iron and limestone rock, and a three-clamshell timber grab.
One RPS crane can switch between handling modes to suit the cargo at the berth.

Clamshell grabs move coal, grain, ore and scrap, with up to 400 t per hour on the RPS-300.
Hook mode lifts general cargo, from 20 t on the RPS-300 to 63 t on the RPS-1600.
The RPS-640 and RPS-1600 work in spreader mode for container handling.
Magnet and lifting beam modes handle steel products and long loads.
The operator controls luffing, hoisting, slewing and travel from the cabin.
