Overview
Electric drives with no hydraulics
The RMH is built for busy ports that handle many cargo types. Every movement is electrically driven and the crane has no hydraulic components. The design focuses on safety, productivity, operator ergonomics and long service life.
The boom reaches 11 to 48 m, extendable to 54 m. In hook mode the crane lifts 124 t at 10.5 to 12 m, and up to 154 t as an option. In container mode it lifts 41 t single and 50 t twin. Lifting height is 45 m above the quay at minimum radius, and the hook reaches about 12 m below quay level.
Hoisting runs at 0 to 120 m/min, slewing at up to 1.6 rpm and travel at up to 5 km/h. The crane weighs about 342 t on a 12.5 × 12.5 m wheelbase. RIKON clamshell grabs are offered for bulk handling.
