Overview
Container stacking on rails
The RMG runs on rails across the container yard, with electric drives for the main operating movements. It can be built with a rotary or non-rotary trolley, and with or without cantilevers. The A-RMG adds a fully automated operation mode.
The crane lifts 43 t under the spreader and 50 t under the pulley frame, with the spreader capacity increasable to 50 t. The standard gauge is 25 m, extendable to 59 m, and the consoles reach 6 m on each side, extendable to 16 m. Lift height is 26 m.
With load, the crane lifts at 30 m/min, the trolley travels at 100 m/min and the crane at 120 m/min, and the spreader turns through 360° at 2 rpm. Empty, the hoist reaches 60 m/min.
