Fixed portal and moving table for fast 5-axis work
The ACTIVE line uses a fixed portal and a moving table. Structures are optimized with FEM analysis for rigidity, and low friction with high axis acceleration gives dynamic performance in both roughing and finishing.
ACTIVE MEGA is the largest model of the line, with linear motors and a high loading capacity for large components: 2,200, 3,200 or 4,200 mm longitudinal, 2,050 mm cross and 1,100 mm vertical travels, 60,000 mm/min feeds and TET, TUB and TWE heads. ACTIVE FIVE Linear has linear motors on all axes for high-speed 5-axis machining, with 2,200, 3,000 or 4,000 mm longitudinal, 2,030 mm cross and 1,000 mm vertical travels and 60,000 mm/min feeds.
ACTIVE FIVE is a very compact high-speed centre with a two-axis continuous head: 2,000 or 3,000 mm longitudinal, 1,800 or 2,030 mm cross and 1,000 mm vertical travels, with feeds up to 30,000 mm/min. ACTIVE MEGA and FIVE Linear list a spindle of up to 47 kW, 190 Nm and 22,000 rpm; FIVE models use the TUB bi-rotative head.
