Heavy-Duty CNC Cutter

MicroStep DRM

CNC cutting machine for domes, plates and pipes with a 1.5 m Z-axis stroke

MicroStep DRM is a heavy-duty CNC cutting machine for domes, plates and pipes. Its gantry carries oxyfuel triple torches and a 120° rotator on a 1.5 m Z-axis stroke, so it cuts and bevels 3D shapes as well as flat plate.

Overview

Built for domes and other 3D parts

The DRM is a heavy-duty CNC cutting machine for dome, plate and pipe work. Its rigid gantry runs heavy equipment without vibration, including automatic oxyfuel triple torches, a 120° rotator and custom equipment, and the 1.5 m Z-axis stroke lets it cut 3D shapes.

For domes, a 3D scanner with mScan software measures the true surface and adjusts the cutting plan to it. Typical dome work includes trimming, separation cuts, openings, weld edge preparation and cutting domes placed upside down.

Working length runs from 3000 to 30000 mm and working width from 1500 to 8000 mm, with up to 4 tool stations. Oxyfuel cuts up to 200 mm, plasma thickness depends on the plasma source, and drilling and tapping cover Ø 4 to 60 mm and M4 to M30 with automatic tool exchange.

Applications

Work the DRM takes on

The DRM covers the full range of plate and pipe cutting, with extra reach for 3D parts.
