MicroStep DRM Max is a heavy-duty CNC machine for cutting, drilling and milling. A separate sub-gantry carries a milling spindle with an 8-position tool changer, while the front gantry cuts with plasma and oxyfuel.

Overview
Cutting and milling on one bed
The DRM Max combines cutting, drilling and milling for heavy work such as offshore structures, wind towers, heavy vessels, columns, reactors and heavy machinery. Working length runs from 3000 to 30000 mm and working width from 1500 to 4000 mm.
The drilling and milling area has its own sub-gantry with two strong retainers, which allow milling up to 750 mm along the X axis. The direct-drive spindle comes as 42 kW, 276 Nm and 10000 rpm or as 55 kW, 834 Nm and 6000 rpm, with an automatic 8-position ISO50 tool changer.
The front gantry holds up to 4 tool stations, or 6 for oxyfuel, and cuts oxyfuel up to 300 mm. Other DRM-series accessories can be added for plate, pipe, beam and dome cutting, including bevel tool stations and rotary pipe positioners for pipes from Ø 30 to 1500 mm and up to 12 t.

Holes from Ø 4 to 70 mm and threads from M4 to M33.
