The Taco TC Series are compact, frame-mounted centrifugal pumps for circulation in heating, cooling, pressure boosting and water supply systems.
Taco TS pumps feature a side suction connection and top discharge to minimise installation space. The efficient double-suction design reduces axial thrust and bearing loading.
Rugged construction, a foot-mounted casing, centre drop-out coupling and regreasable bearings simplify installation and servicing.
Pressure & Temperature
- Working pressure: standard 175 PSIG (1,210 kPa); optional 300 PSIG (2,070 kPa), subject to pressure–temperature limits.
- Fluid temperature: up to 250°F (120°C).
Materials
- Casing: ASTM A48 Class 30A cast iron.
- Impeller: bronze; optional AISI 304 stainless steel.
- Shaft: AISI 1045 carbon steel; optional AISI 420 stainless steel.
- Wear components: replaceable bronze or stainless steel shaft sleeves and wear rings, depending on construction.
- Mechanical seal: carbon/silicon carbide faces with Viton elastomers.

- Construction: vertical split casing, centre drop-out coupling and regreasable bearings.
- Base: reinforced welded base with standard drip pan.
- Options: copper seal flush line and 5-micron cartridge filter.
