The Viking Fireking™ VK-RCA is an angle-style rigid grooved coupling. Its angled housing geometry improves pipe engagement and load distribution, giving the joint added mechanical stability where pipe movement must be restrained.
The coupling has a ductile iron housing and an EPDM gasket and is supplied painted red or galvanised, with red epoxy available on request. It is intended for water-based fire-suppression systems.
Pressure & Temperature
- Working pressure: 20.7 bar (300 psi) to 27.6 bar (400 psi), depending on size and approval.
- Up to 27.6 bar (400 psi) on 1-1/4" to 4" sizes.
- Ambient temperature: -34 °C to 110 °C (-29.2 °F to 230 °F).
