The Viking Fireking™ VK-RC is a rigid grooved coupling designed to lock pipe segments together without angular deflection. It keeps a fixed alignment and structural continuity along fire-protection pipelines.
The coupling has a ductile iron housing and an EPDM gasket and is supplied painted red or galvanised, with red epoxy available on request, for use in corrosive conditions. It is intended for water-based fire-suppression systems.
Pressure & Temperature
- Working pressure: 20.7 bar (300 psi) to 34.5 bar (500 psi), depending on size and approval.
- Up to 34.5 bar (500 psi) on 1" to 4" sizes.
- Ambient temperature: -34 °C to 110 °C (-29.2 °F to 230 °F).
Connection & Sizes
- Nominal sizes 1" to 12" (DN25 to DN300).
- Grooved connection with no hot work required.
- For water-based fire-suppression systems.
