The Viking Fireking™ VK-FC is a flexible grooved coupling for connections subject to movement, vibration and thermal variations. Designed for dynamic piping systems, it absorbs movement while keeping the joint pressure-tight.
The coupling has a ductile iron housing and an EPDM gasket and is supplied painted red or galvanised, with red epoxy available on request, to extend service life under corrosive or demanding conditions.
Pressure & Temperature
- Working pressure: 20.7 bar (300 psi) to 34.5 bar (500 psi), depending on size and approval.
- Up to 34.5 bar (500 psi) on 1" to 3" sizes.
- Ambient temperature: -34 °C to 110 °C (-29.2 °F to 230 °F).
Connection & Sizes
- Nominal sizes 1" to 12" (DN25 to DN300).
- Flexible grooved joint with flame-free installation.
- For water-based fire-suppression systems.
