The Viking Fireking™ VK-FCH is a heavy-duty flexible grooved coupling for high-pressure fire-protection environments. It combines a high pressure rating with mechanical flexibility for demanding fire protection mains.
The coupling has a ductile iron housing and an EPDM gasket and is supplied painted red or galvanised, with red epoxy available on request, for harsh environments.
Pressure & Temperature
- Working pressure: 27.6 bar (400 psi) to 34.5 bar (500 psi), depending on size and approval.
- 34.5 bar (500 psi) on 2" to 6"; 27.6 bar (400 psi) on 8" to 12".
- Ambient temperature: -34 °C to 110 °C (-29.2 °F to 230 °F).
Connection & Sizes
- Nominal sizes 2" to 12" (DN50 to DN300).
- Flexible grooved joint.
