Overview

Hot-work steel from the SIJ production route

SITHERM is a hot-work tool steel brand produced by SIJ Metal Ravne and distributed and serviced by HTS Group / Ravne Steel Center. It is made for high-temperature tooling exposed to cyclic thermal, mechanical and dynamic loading.

SIJ Metal Ravne provides the metallurgical base: steelmaking, ESR remelting, forging, rolling, heat treatment, machining and R&D. HTS provides cutting, machining, heat-treatment support, technical consultation and delivery.

HTS states it has more than 8,000 tons of steel available, more than 50 sawing machines and a wide range of machining and heat-treatment possibilities.
