Overview
One line for the whole panel workflow
The line covers the full hull plate workflow: steel plate loading, panel assembly and welding, marking, cutting and grinding, stiffener and T-bar installation, bulkhead installation and welding, and lifting and transfer of the finished panel section. It works together with a bulkhead production line.
Robots, large gantry welders and positioners are linked by machine vision, automatic programming, digital twin technology and full-process data traceability. Standardized workflows reduce idle time and speed up block fabrication.
Each line is adapted to the panel sizes and processes of the shipyard and can connect to MES and ERP systems. DIG covers planning, layout, design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training and after-sales support; installation and commissioning typically take 4–8 weeks for standard lines.
