Overview

Deburring single parts on rotating satellites

Rösler satellite machines are made for gentle processing of single parts with consistent results, including sensitive and/or complex work pieces. They suit fully automated, interlinked production lines, and the satellite units are designed for each project.

The RWS swing chamber system deburrs small to medium-sized work pieces mounted on rotating satellites. A turning beam carries identical satellite arrangements on both sides, so loading and unloading at the external station does not add to the cycle time. The number and layout of the satellites often follows the mold cavities. The system uses one blast turbine or up to eight injector blast guns, optionally on vertical and/or horizontal traversing units, and both processes can be combined. After blasting, residual media and dust are blown off inside the cabin.

The RSA1500 satellite table blast machine extends the range of the RWS1200 in indexing positions and work piece dimensions. A rotary table moves the parts, held on satellites with individual fixtures, through loading and unloading, an infeed lock, blast positions with up to 10 injector blast guns and a blow-off position.
