ATIS mirus manipulators are pneumatic rigid-arm handling systems made in Italy. A low-inertia parallelogram balances the load so the operator moves parts of up to 1000 kg, including offset loads, with little effort.

Overview
Zero-gravity handling with a rigid arm
The mirus range uses a parallelogram with a terminal arm to balance the load, so heavy or awkward parts feel weightless to the operator. The arm is rigid, which means it can carry offset loads that sit outside the centre of gravity.
Six models cover maximum net capacities from 115 kg on the mirus 80 to 1000 kg on the mirus 800, with working radii up to 4400 mm and vertical strokes up to 2250 mm. Each system is sized to the space, plant layout and production needs of the customer.
Operation is fully pneumatic on clean, dry, oil-free compressed air at 0.5 to 0.8 MPa, so no electrical connection is needed. The column rotates continuously through 360° and the intermediate axis turns up to 300°.
Mounting can be a column fixed to the floor, a column on a self-standing baseplate, a wheeled base, or a fixed or sliding overhead installation on rails. Gripping tools are designed for each customer's parts, with manual or pneumatic movements.
