Overview
Rope balancers for a defined centre of gravity
The acer range balances the load on a dual-rope pulley system, so the operator lifts and places parts with little effort. It suits products with a defined centre of gravity, and with a custom gripping tool it can also handle off-centre loads.
Three models are built. The acer 55 carries 55 kg at 3500 mm radius, the acer 80 carries 95 kg at 3100 mm and the acer 150 carries 150 kg at 4000 mm, with maximum radii of 4000, 4100 and 5000 mm. Vertical stroke is 1600 mm on the acer 55 and 1800 mm on the larger models.
Operation is fully pneumatic on clean, dry, oil-free air at 0.5 to 0.8 MPa. The column turns continuously through 360° and the intermediate axis up to 330° with a stop. Mounting can be a fixed column, a self-standing baseplate, or a fixed or sliding overhead installation.
