SISMA BIG SMARKY is a desktop laser marking and engraving system with an ytterbium fibre laser source and a 500 x 500 x 380 mm working chamber that opens on three sides through a large manual door.

SISMA BIG SMARKY is a desktop system for laser marking and engraving, built around an ytterbium fibre laser source. Its 500 x 500 x 380 mm working chamber is reached through a large manual door that opens on three sides, and the machine can be placed on a workbench, a special base, an assembly island or in a laboratory.
The system works on precious metals, steel, brass, aluminium and polymers, with processes that range from photo-etching and plate cutting to detailed engraving and deep excavation. The maximum marking area is 180 x 180 mm with the F254 lens, and the Z axis has a stroke of 380 mm.
Laser source configurations from 20 W to 70 W average power at 1064 nm are listed. With the most powerful configuration the machine can cut slabs, and a motorised plate-pulling device with fume extractor is available for this work.
SISMA lists the system for the jewelry and industry sectors.
