About Q45S Wet H2S Gas Detector
Odour control at wastewater plants and sewer systems often uses wet scrubbers with hypochlorite to remove H2S. The Q45S measures at the scrubber inlet, where concentrations can reach 200 ppm, and at the outlet, where they should be below 0.5 ppm.
An optional air-purge system, controlled by the monitor, periodically blows water droplets off the sensor face to keep the diffusion path clear. Sensor configurations are available for duct insertion or flow-cell use.
