About C12-17 Combustible Gas Detector
The C12-17 detects potentially hazardous concentrations of combustible gases and vapours such as methane, propane, butane, gasoline, toluene and hydrogen in process buildings, analyser enclosures, pump stations and gas compressor stations.
It is a three-wire transmitter supplied as a blind unit or with an integral LCD visible through the window of the explosion-proof housing. Units with display also have a single latching alarm relay that can be reset with a magnetic tool without opening the enclosure.
The catalytic sensor uses an active and a passive element in a Wheatstone bridge. Sensor assemblies are 316 stainless steel with a sinter-bonded flame arrestor; sensor life is typically two years or more.
