The SPM SHK series high speed mixing granulator mixes powder raw material and binder fully at the bottom of the cylinder into a moist soft mass. A high-speed chopper then cuts it into uniform granules.
Dry mixing, wet mixing and granulating are completed in the same sealed container, in conformity with GMP requirements.
Process Performance
- Fluidised granulation produces near-spherical granules with good flow.
- Up to 25% less binder than the traditional process, with a shorter process time.
- Dry mixing time: 2 minutes; granulating time: 1-4 minutes.
- Efficiency stated as 4-5 times that of the traditional process.
