In the SPM GFG fluid bed dryer, a fan draws natural air through a purifying cabinet and heater, forming a high-speed airflow through the holes of the material bed.
This puts the material into a boiling (fluidised) state. The large contact area between the gas and solid phases evaporates moisture quickly, drying the material.
Design
- Hopper sealed to the frame by an O-type air cell for convenient handling.
- Filter bag and cylinder automatic bag shake unit on top to avoid material loss.
Drying Principle
- Fan-drawn air passes through a purifying cabinet and heater into the material bed.
- Material is fluidised and its moisture evaporates quickly.
The GFG is used for boiling (fluidised) drying of particle materials of 0.1-6 mm and for fast drying of finished and intermediate products.
