The PSP1 Plug-in Special Purpose Supervisory Switch from Safe Signal is designed for unique applications where no other listed valve supervisory switch can be installed. It supervises non-rising stem gate valves, ball valves and angle valves, and is approved for Class A and Class B circuits.
The supervisory cord closes a set of normally open contacts when pulled out, and a lockout prevents reinsertion until the cover is removed and the unit reset. Removal of the cover or cutting of the cord results in an open circuit.
Enclosure & Environment
- NEMA 3 rated enclosure for indoor or outdoor use.
- Operating temperature range: –4°F to 149°F (–20°C to 65°C).

- Maximum operating current: 250 mA.
- Cable: 2 wire, 18 gauge waterproof, 8 feet long (2.4 m).
