The SPM CYJ-300B is a tablet friability (brittleness) instrument used as measuring equipment for controlling tablet stability. It examines wear resistance, resistance to collision and other physical strength properties such as cracking strength.
It is used in tablet plants, medicine examining institutes and hospitals. According to the manufacturer, it follows the 2000 edition of the Chinese medicine code for medicine examination, and it does not give valid data for sugar-coated tablets.
