The Genizer Dual-Light Particle Sizer (GDPS) is a general-purpose particle sizing instrument for characterizing nano-scale and micron-scale particles. It is based on Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and uses a dual-wavelength laser principle to extend the measurable size range and improve measurement accuracy.
A high-speed digital correlator and a photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector give fast measurement, high resolution and high detection sensitivity without destroying the original nano-particle structure or contaminating the sample. The instrument detects dynamic sample changes in real time and runs fully automatically with software for data collection and analysis.
With a measurement range of 1 nm to 10 μm and accuracy of ≤ 1%, the GDPS suits materials such as nanoemulsions, liposomes, nanoparticles, ceramics, abrasives, inks, paints and other dispersed systems.
