The Viking Fireking™ VK-ECD Drilled End Cap closes off the end of a grooved pipe while providing a threaded outlet for drains, test connections, pressure gauges or auxiliary devices. It combines end-of-line closure and a functional outlet in a single compact fitting.
The end cap is made from ductile cast iron to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 and is rated for fire-suppression service from 12.1 bar (175 psi) to 34.5 bar (500 psi), depending on size and approval. Outlets are available with NPT or BSP threads.
