The Viking Fireking™ VK-EC End Cap is a pressure-rated way to close the end of grooved fire-protection piping. Its compact, one-piece ductile iron design installs without welding or threading.
The end cap is made from ductile cast iron to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 and is rated for working pressures from 20.7 bar (300 psi) to 34.5 bar (500 psi), depending on size and approval. It is supplied painted red or galvanized, with red epoxy available on request.
