The Viking Fireking™ VK-MTT and VK-MTT2 Mechanical Threaded Tee provides a threaded branch connection directly from a grooved main pipe. It combines the speed of mechanical grooved technology with the flexibility of threaded outlets.
Typical uses are sprinkler drops, gauges and control devices. The tee has a ductile iron housing with an EPDM gasket and is supplied in red epoxy or galvanised finish, with NPT or BSP threaded outlets.
Pressure & Temperature
- Working pressure: 16 bar (232 psi) to 20.7 bar (300 psi), depending on size and approval.
- Ambient temperature: -34 °C to 110 °C (-29.2 °F to 230 °F).
Connection & Sizes
- NPT sizes: 1-1/2" × 1" to 8" × 4".
- BSP sizes: DN40 × DN25 to DN200 × DN100.
- Threaded branch outlet taken directly from a grooved main pipe.
