The Viking Fireking™ VK-MTG and VK-MTG2 Mechanical Grooved Tee creates branch outlets directly from the main pipe using a hole-cut connection, without cutting in a welded tee.
The two-bolt, gasketed design gives a pressure-tight seal and reduces installation time compared with traditional welded or threaded tees. The tee has a ductile iron housing with an EPDM gasket and is supplied painted red or galvanised, with red epoxy available on request.
Pressure & Temperature
- Working pressure: 16 bar (232 psi) to 20.7 bar (300 psi), depending on size and approval.
- Ambient temperature: -34 °C to 110 °C (-29.2 °F to 230 °F).
Connection & Sizes
- Nominal sizes 2" × 1" to 8" × 4" (DN50 × DN25 to DN200 × DN100).
- Grooved branch outlet from a hole cut in the main pipe.
