Plasma Clean activated carbon filters remove residual ozone and act as a final odour polish before air is discharged, further oxidising odour molecules trapped on the activated carbon surface. This matters where the extraction point is at low level, close to an open window or near an air-intake louvre.
They form the final stage in systems using ozone-based odour control, such as Xtract, Techniclean, Electrostatix or ESP UV units. The standard 594 × 196 × 597 mm unit weighs 18 kg with a 120 Pa pressure drop, and units fit Plasma Clean carbon housings holding 3, 6 or 9 Sitesafe cells.
