The APUS x2 is an anaesthesia workstation from aXcent medical for operating rooms that need broader ventilation capability, patient coverage and monitoring. It supports neonatal, paediatric and adult patients and integrates gas delivery, vaporizers, flow controls, breathing circuits and a ventilator.
The 12.1-inch display presents airway pressures, flow, tidal volumes, waveforms and system alarms in a clear clinical format. With a tidal volume range of 5–1500 ml, the APUS x2 accommodates very small neonatal patients as well as full-size adults. Pressure- and volume-based ventilation modes suit routine surgical and high-dependency anaesthesia cases.
