Overview

Waterjet cutting without heat stress

AquaCut is a high-precision CNC waterjet cutting machine for materials that cannot tolerate thermal or mechanical stress. It works with pure water cutting or abrasive waterjet cutting, depending on the material.

The machine cuts metal, stone, marble, armored glass, ceramics, plastics, wood, corrugated cardboard, foamed materials and sandwich materials. Working length runs from 3 to 18 m and working width from 1.5 to 4 m, with up to four tool stations.

AquaCut can be fitted with a 5-axis waterjet rotator for bevel cutting and combined with plasma, drilling or tapping units, with tapping from M3 to M12. Further options include a waterjet multi-tool station, auto-calibration of tool geometry and a sludge removal conveyor. Positioning speed is up to 56 m/min with a bidirectional repeatability of 0.05 mm/m.
