The HERZ 2512 Drain Valve from HERZ Armaturen is a DZR brass ball-type valve for filling and draining heating or chilled water systems. Its full-bore ball allows fast system emptying and refilling with minimal pressure loss.
PTFE-sealed spindle and ball provide smooth operation under pressure and temperature, and the red-painted aluminium locking bolt gives clear visual feedback. It is suitable for water and water-glycol mixtures of 25–50%.

- Temperature range: -30°C to +110°C.
- Medium: water and water-glycol mixtures (25–50%).
Connection & Sizes
- BSP internal thread.
- Sizes DN15 (½") and DN20 (¾").
- Hose connection with union nut available separately.
Operation
- Quarter-turn operation by turning the locking bolt.
- Use fully open or fully closed only.
- Operate at least twice a year.
