The HERZ 2622 Dual Plate Check Valve from HERZ Armaturen is a wafer-type non-return valve designed for compact installation between flanges. Its spring-loaded double-disc design ensures rapid closure, reducing water hammer and maintaining flow efficiency.
Constructed from cast iron (GG25) with CF8 stainless-steel discs and EPDM seats, it follows EN 12334 and operates reliably in hot and cold water applications. The blue epoxy coating provides corrosion protection for long-term performance.
Pressure & Temperature
- Nominal pressure: PN16.
- Temperature range: -10°C to +110°C.
- Medium: hot or cold water; glycol mixtures of 25–50%. Not for acids or flammable fluids.
Connection & Sizes
- Wafer type for installation between EN 1092-2 flanges.
- Design standard: EN 12334.
- Sizes DN65 to DN600.
Design & Coating
- Spring-loaded double plate design.
- Kvs values from 110 to 15,752 m³/h.
