AG Intermediate Level Sprinkler Water Shields from AG Fire Sprinkler protect the sprinkler's thermosensitive element from water discharged by sprinklers at higher elevations, which could otherwise cool or wet the element and affect its operation during a fire.
The shields are designed to be assembled with installed pendent and upright sprinklers at intermediate levels. Typical areas of use are storage racks, spaces under open grating and outdoor installations, where they also act as weather protection.
