The Viking Fireking™ VK-SFP Split Flange PN16 provides a mechanical transition between grooved steel pipe and PN16 flanged components. The two-piece housing fits around the grooved pipe and bolts to the mating flange without welding or threading.
The housing is made from ductile cast iron to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 and seals with an EPDM gasket. Bolts and nuts are quenched and tempered steel to ASTM A449. The flange is rated for 20.7 bar (300 psi) and an ambient temperature range of −34 °C to 110 °C.

- Working pressure: 20.7 bar (300 psi), for Schedule 40 pipe unless stated otherwise.
- Ambient temperature: −34 °C to 110 °C (−29.2 °F to 230 °F).
- For water-based fire-suppression systems.
