PICCHI Combybar is a flexible CNC multi-spindle machine with non-rotating bar feed. It loads, cuts and machines extruded bar in round, hexagonal or complex profiles into finished parts on a rotary table.

Overview
From extruded bar to finished part in one machine
Combybar machines start from extruded bar in round, hexagonal or complex profiles. The bar does not rotate: an integrated loader, CNC bar feeder and CNC cutter feed and cut it, a separator removes bar heads and tails, and the part is machined on a rotary table by CNC units that work independently of each other.
T5-U4 is a very compact 5-station machine with four 3-axis centers up to 18000 rpm, mainly for brass and aluminium profiles. T8-U10 has 8 stations, 11 spindles and a CNC lathe group for parts up to Ø65 x L160 mm. T10-U22 has 10 stations, 23 spindles and eight 3-axis centers for parts up to 65 x 80 x L125 mm.
T12-U18 has 12 stations and 19 spindles at 8000 rpm, optionally 12000 rpm, for long and slim oil-hydraulic parts in carbon and stainless steel. T16-U16 DOUBLE joins two machines with 8+8 stations, a double bar loader, feeder and cutter, producing two parts at the same time for parts up to Ø45 x L120 mm.
Options include HP High Performance & Low Maintenance units, a direct-drive rotary table, hydrostatic support for polycrystalline or natural diamond tools on light alloys, thermoregulation, tool wear management, rapid re-tooling, remote assistance and Industry 4.0 connectivity.
