The Milli-Q CLX 8080 Water Purification System provides a high-performance solution for pure water needs of up to 1600 L per day. Up to 3 systems can be placed in series to increase daily capacity. The water produced complies with the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) guideline for clinical laboratory reagent water (CLRW). This high-throughput analyzer feed system supports your clinical lab′s maximum productivity by integrating modern purification technologies and delivering an unprecedented level of system accessibility and service. MyMilli-Q Remote Care online monitoring and service capability is available on all Milli-Q CLX systems. The Milli-Q CLX 8080 water purification system (HC) is used when feed water has high levels of chlorine.
This water purification system has been evaluated across the seven impact categories of the Design for Sustainability (DfS) framework and awarded Greener Alternative Product status. Compared with the equivalent Milli-Q CLX 7000 system, it features mercury-free, LED-based bactericidal reactors that last twice as long and help reduce the system′s daily electricity consumption by approximately 5% under standardized operating conditions. The system′s wood and corrugated packaging materials carry sustainable forestry certification, while its protective inserts are made from polyethylene foam containing more than 80% recycled content.
