INDUCTION HEATING SYSTEM FOR BOLT EXPANSION
The EFD Induction bolt expansion solution is built around a small yet powerful mobile Minac converter and specially designed inductor coils. Handheld transformers (HHT) feature on/off and precise power controls. In fact, the HHT is as easy to operate as a regular electric drill. Flexible, water-cooled cables connecting the HHT to the converter allow easy access to bolts. No flames, no gas and virtually no radiant heat means good news for the environment too.

Tip of the Month
- Induction heating is incredibly fast, accurate, controllable and repeatable. It makes the manufacturing of metal products clean and green. It promotes safe and healthy workplaces. It is a proven technology to create heat that contributes to a better world. Expanding bolts with induction is the proven time- and labor-saving alternative to inefficient flame and resistance heating. A specially designed coil is inserted into the bolt. Heat is then induced directly in the bolt.
